HOW LONG DOES EACH SESSION LAST?

At Xtend Optimal Health we handle two types of hyperbaric chamber sessions, HBOT mini of 60 min and HBOT full of 90 min.

WHEN DO I START TO SEE RESULTS?

This will depend on your goals and condition. Between 5 and 40 sessions can be performed, but results are usually seen after the 5th or 6th session.

People with the following conditions should not access this procedure:

  • History of spontaneous pneumothorax
  • History of optic neuritis
  • Claustrophobia
  • High fever
  • Flatulent dyspepsia
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Emphysema with carbon dioxide retention
  • Congenital spherocytosis
  • Existence of thoracotomy
  • Infections of the upper respiratory system
  • Viral infections
  • Pneumonia
  • Acute or chronic septated synopathies
  • Chronic sinusitis
  • Seizure disorders
  • Consumption of drugs such as doxorubicin, bleomycin, disulfram, cisplatin or mafenide acetate
